Geraldine Rouse, 74, of Paducah, passed away Friday, June 3, 2016, 8:29 pm, at her residence.
She was a member of New Greater Love Church where she served in the Usher Ministry and was a member of the Interdenominational Union Ushers.
She was a graduate of the former Lincoln High School and a 26-year retiree of the JC Penney Company and had served as a nurse aide at Genesis Health, formerly Riverfront Terrace.

She is survived by her companion, Donald M. Kirby of Paducah; one brother, Terry Rouse of Paducah; five sisters, her twin, Merlean Kelly, Barbara J. Rouse, Rava Nell Rouse, Linda Rouse Hamilton and Yvonne Rouse, all of Paducah; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Oscar D. Rouse and Lula Mae Dance Rouse; four brothers and three sisters.

Funeral service will be held Saturday, June 11, 2016, 12:00 Noon, at New Greater Love Church, with Reverend LaRita Horton officiating. Burial will follow in Maplelawn Park Cemetery.

Friends may also call at the church on Saturday from 11:00 am until the funeral hour.
