Georgia B. Alexander, age 98, of Clarksville, TN, formerly of Paducah, passed away Thursday, September 20, 2018, 7:45 p.m., at Tennova Healthcare in Clarksville, TN.

She was the oldest member and served on the Mother's Ministry at New Greater Love Church and was a homemaker.

She is survived by five daughters , Norma Thompson of Milwaukee, WI, Ruth Williams of Mayfield, Mary King of Dallas, TX, and Tammy Alexander of Orange County, NJ, and Jurner Thomas of Clarksville, TN; three sons , Percy Jones and Joe Alexander, both of Clarksville, TN and Wayne Fowler of Paducah; one sister , Rosie Donelson of St. Louis, MO; one brother , Percy Donelson of St. Louis, MO; several grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great—grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins .

She was preceded in death by her parents, George Edgar Lyons and Elsie Donelson Alexander; her husband, Ned Aaron Alexander; three brothers and three sisters.

Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday, September 29, 2018, 11:00 a.m. at New Greater Love Church with Elder LaRita Horton officiating. Burial will follow in Maplelawn Park Cemetery.

Friends may also call at the church on Friday, September 28, 2018, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. and again on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the funeral hour.
