IN LOVING MEMORY OF
George Joseph
Mccoy Iii
February 15, 1972 – July 24, 2021
George Joseph McCoy III, passed away at his home on July 24, 2021. Born February 15, 1972 in Cincinnati, Ohio.
He was a loving and proud father to George J. McCoy IV and a very loving and proud Papaw to George Joseph McCoy V and Benjamin Cash McCoy. His son and grandsons were the light of his life. George sadly leaves behind his loving mother, Judy Barber and father George McCoy, Jr. (Barb). He also leaves his brother Clay McCoy (Suzie) and sister Jamie Barber (Zac). He also leaves behind his nephews C.J. Austin, Logan and Logan C. along with his nieces Destiny, Alexis and Allison.
He leaves countless friends including his best friend Ray Worley and grandson's mother, Kayla Krieger, along with numerous aunts, uncles and cousins who loved him dearly.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents Clayborn and Zula (Nanny) Roberts and his grandfather George J. McCoy, Sr. George had many friends and loved his family fiercely. He was a skilled handyman. There wasn't much he could not figure out by watching a quick Youtube video. He was also an excellent cook and at one point in his life talked of becoming a chef. One of George's great loves, that he passed down to his son, was the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Since he was a young boy he has loved hunting, fishing and the outdoors like he was taught by his uncle Wayne (Bubba). He will be greatly missed.
