Garfield "June" Green, Jr., age 75, of Paducah passed away on Friday, July 10, 2015, 12:50 p.m. at Baptist Health of Paducah.

He was a member of Mt. Olive Freewill Baptist Church and a retired well digger for Jerry Jones Plumbing Company. He was United States Army veteran.

Green was preceded in death by his parents, Garfield Green ,Sr. and Mary Johnson Green; two sisters, Millie Gary and Pearl Green and brothers, Willie "Nubb" Thomas and Alfred Freeman.

Surviving are his wife, Jo Ann Green of Paducah; three step-daughters, Mary Ruth Green of Atlanta, GA, Denise R. Embery of East St. Louis, IL, and Dana R. Embery of Atlanta, GA; five step-sons, Tim Parker of Louisville, KY, Chris Green OF Paducah, KY, Dwayne R. Embery of Fayetteville, NC, Darwin R. Richardson and Derrick E. Richardson both of Seattle, WA; 45 Grandchildren; 8 Great-Grandchildren; 3 Great-Great Grandchildren; a brother, Eddie Green of Paducah; four sisters, Bettye Muse, Ada Green, Rose Anderson and Mary L. White all of Paducah; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, July 14, 2015, 12 Noon, at Pettus-Rowland Funeral Home with Reverend Calvin R. Cole, Sr. officiating.

Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday from 11:00 a.m. until the funeral hour.
