Obituary
Franklin Sanders Bradford, 62, Metropolis, IL, passed away Monday, November 17, 2014, 8:46 am, at Massac Memorial Hospital in Metropolis, IL.
Franklin was a member of North Crockett Street Church of Christ in Brookport, Illinois. He was a 35 year employee of Honeywell International Incorporation and a member of the United Steel Workers Union Local #7669. He was also a Veteran of the US Army, serving during the Vietnam Era.
He is survived by his wife of thirty-two years, Margaret A. Bradford and one son, Edgar Bradford, both of Metropolis; two grandchildren; one brother, William Lloyd Bradford of Mermet, IL; one sister, Crystal Raye of Metropolis; one aunt; one uncle; several nieces, nephews and other relatives.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lloyd William Bradford and Jessie Marie Sanders Bradford and one grandson.
Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, November 25, 2014, 11:00 am, at Broadway Church of Christ in Metropolis with William D. Hensley officiating. Burial will follow in Boyd Cemetery of Choates, IL with military rites.
Friends may also call at the church on Tuesday from 9:00 am until the funeral hour.
