Frances E. Staples, age 99, of Paducah, passed away Wednesday, July 8, 2020, 1:04 p.m., at Parkview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center of Paducah.

She was a homemaker, a member of Locust Grove Missionary Baptist Church in Kuttawa, and attended the Lyon County School System.

She is survived by one daughter in-law; Elsie Staples of Paducah, KY, four grandchildren; Roberta M. (Terry) Parker, Bobby (Nicole) Staples Jr., and Helena "Binky" (Chris) Staples all of Paducah KY; Charice  (Anthony) Malone of Louisville, KY; several great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren ; several nieces, nephews and cousins .

She was preceded in death by her husband Williard Staples, one son, Bobby Staples Sr., her parents, Robert Parker and Lovie Crider Parker, one sister, Pearline Moody and two brothers, Herbert Parker and Noah Parker..

Funeral services are scheduled for Friday, July 17, 2020, 12 Noon at Pettus Rowland Funeral Home with Rev's Byron Copeland and Patricia Brandon officiating. Burial will follow in Rolling Hills Cemetery in Eddyville, KY.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 11:00 a.m. until the funeral hour.
