Frances "Scooter" Gary age 75 of Fredericksburg, VA formerly of Paducah passed away on Saturday, August 10, 2019, 4:30 a.m. at her residence.

She was of the baptist faith.

She retired from the Paducah Board of Education and attended West Kentucky Vocational and Technical College receiving her certification in cosmetology.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Herman and Leola Denson Gary, two sons, Barron Gary I, Johnathan Gary ,three sisters and four brothers.

She is survived by two daughters; Stephanie D. Travis, of Greensboro, NC, and Tonaka Gary of Fredericksburg,VA; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; two sisters; Opal Gary of Lexington, KY; Erma Norris, Paducah; two brothers; Vernon Gary of Paducah, Charles Gary, Chicago, IL, several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday, August 17, 2019, 1:00 p.m. at Greater Lincoln Heights Missionary Baptist Church with Reverend Alfred Anderson officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery in Kevil, KY.

Friends may call at the church on Saturday from 11:00 a.m. until the funeral hour.
