Floyd E. "Sonny" Keeling, 76, Paducah, died Monday, October 26, 2009, 1:14 a.m., at Parkview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
He was a retired City of Paducah Refuge Truck Driver and a member of Pleasant Grove Missionary Baptist Church where he served as deacon. Sonny was also a US Air Force Veteran.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Elizabeth Patterson Keeling; one daughter Rhonda Williams, and one sister.
Keeling is survived by his wife of 45 years, Mary Lee Keeling; seven daughters, Patricia Griffith, Eula Williams, Margaret Titsworth, all of Paducah; Janice Ford of East St. Louis, Il, Rosalind Williams of Atlanta, GA, LaTanya Keeling and Brigette Keeling, both of Waterloo, IA; three sons, Martin Coleman of Paducah; Darries Williams of Atlanta, GA. And Tony Keeling of Westland, MI; two brothers, Shelly Keeling and Lemuel Keeling both of Paducah; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Saturday, at Washington Street Missionary Baptist Church, 721
Washington Street, Paducah. Reverend Raynarldo Henderson and Reverend James Draw will officiate, and burial to follow in Oak Grove Cemetery .
The family will receive visitors on Saturday at the church from 12:00 Noon until the funeral hour.
