Obituary

Evelyn Ann Titsworth Laster, better known to loved ones and friends as "Ann", closed her eyes at Mercy Health Lourdes Hospital of Paducah, Kentucky and awakened in the arms of her Heavenly Father at 11:16 a.m. on Monday, July 26, 2021.  Evelyn was born January 30, 1957 in Paducah, Kentucky to the union of her parents, Eugene Titsworth and Gertie Fletcher Titsworth; thus, at the time of her transition, she had reached the age of 64 years, 5 months and 26 days.

Ann had a great need and desire for a Personal Savior in her life, one to lead, guide, and direct her footsteps.  She became a loyal and dedicated member of Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church where she sang in the choir, and was an active member of the Sisterhood and the church culinary committee.

Ann was a graduate of Heath High School in McCracken County and had been employed in environmental service with the Paducah Public School System at McNabb Elementary School.

Ann was introduced to the Red Hat Dolls by Debbie Wade.  Ann joined the Paducah chapter of Red Hat Dolls in 2019, and was a faithful member when her health permitted.  She was a person with very few words, but liked to flash, her smile.  She will be missed by her Red Hat sisters; however, they realize there's no more pain and suffering for her. Ann, take your rest.

Ann was a loving individual who had nurtured so many children around the neighborhood and throughout Paducah.  was quite the yard sale person; she would look for a sale whenever she could make it.  She loved serving the Lord in her church work with the youth and also in helping wherever she cold in the church.  Ann enjoyed getting out, sitting on her porch, and of course, playing and caring for her little doggy, "CoCo".

She leaves the world a remembrance of her love and devotion especially: One Son, Thymus Foster of Paducah, KY; One Daughter, Ernestine Perkins of Jackson, TN; Four Granddaughters, Lakken Jones and Starla Walker, both of Paducah, KY, Sidney Foster and Kaitlyn Foster, both of Metropolis, IL and one Great-Grandson, Xavier Foster of Metropolis, IL; A Devoted Friend, Eddie Sanders of Paducah, KY; A Host of Cousins.

Ann was preceded in death by her Husband Howard Lee Laster, one daughter, Latrina Leigh Laster and her parents, Eugene Titsworth and Gertie Fletcher Titsworth.

Ann will be forever loved and remembered for the wonderful lady she lived to be.
