Obituary
Ethel Louise Mayes, age 59, passed away Monday, August 6, 2018, 7:04 a.m., at the Ray and Kay Eckstein Hospice Center of Paducah.
She was a member of Greater Lincoln Heights Missionary Baptist Church where she served as an usher. She was also a homemaker and a family caregiver.
She is survived by one daughter, Kimberly Michelle Mayes of Mississippi; one son, Calvin Ramont Mayes of Paducah; three brothers, Robert Lee Jones of Wickliffe, KY, William Mayes and Christopher Dwight Mayes, both of Paducah; four sisters, Mary Hoskins, Gloria Ann Mayes, Ruth Ann Mayes and Charlotte Ann Mayes, all of Paducah; one uncle; two aunts; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Will Mayes and Lucy Jones Mayes and a sister.
Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday, August 11, 2018, 12:00 Noon at Greater Lincoln Heights Missionary Baptist Church with Reverend Alfred Anderson officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery.
Friends may also call on the family at the church on Saturday from 11:00 a.m. until the funeral hour.
