Obituary
Ethel Roberta Martin Coffie, 100, Paducah passed away on Tuesday, December 13, 2016, 7:48 p.m. at Baptist Health Paducah.
She was a member of Brookport Unity Missionary Baptist Church where she had served as president of the Missions, a Sunday School teacher and member of the church choir.
She formerly worked at the old Riverside Hospital in custodial services and worked domestically.
Mrs. Coffie was preceded in death by her Husband Charles Hershel Coffie, her parents Isaac Martin, Sr. and Gracie Patterson Martin and a great-granddaughter.
Survivors include a daughter, Lesia Coffie Powell, a grandson, Caryon Johnson, Sr. two granddaughters, Tomica Alexander all of Paducah and Johnnesia Powell of Murray, KY; Six Great-Grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Services are scheduled for Tuesday, December 20, 2016, 11:00 a.m. at Christ Temple Apostolic Church. Reverend Anthony Walton and Reverend Aaron Thomas will officiate. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens.
Friends may call at the church on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until the funeral hour.
