Obituary
Ethel A. "Tootsie" Atkins, 67, Paducah, passed away Monday, November 16, 2015, 10:02 am, at Baptist Health Center in Paducah, KY.
Ms. Atkins was a member of Harrison Street Missionary Baptist Church where she served in the Women's Ministry and the Culinary Arts Committee. She was a homemaker and a member of the Ninth Street Heavenly Seniors.
Ms. Atkins was preceded in death by her parents, Columbus and Leslie Lee Campbell Atkins, two sisters, and one brother.
She is survived by one daughter, Melody K. Atkins, Maywood, IL; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; two brothers Charles Atkins, Amarillo, TX and Columbus Atkins, Dayton, OH; four sisters, Barbara Webbs, Gloria Richardson, Alma McKnight, all of Dayton, OH, and Brenda Murray, Paducah; several nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives.
Services are scheduled for Saturday, November 21, 2015, 1:00 pm at Harrison Street Missionary Baptist Church with Reverend James L. Hudson officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery in Paducah.
The family will receive visitors Saturday, November 21, 2015, 11:00 am until the funeral hour at the church.
