Funeral Service for Essie M. Cox, 79, Paducah, will be Thursday, January 10, 2008, 1:00 P.M., at Washington Street Missionary Baptist Church. Reverend Raynarldo Henderson will officiate, and burial will follow in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens.

Mrs. Cox died on Thursday, January 3, 2008, 11:30 P.M., at Western Baptist Hospital.

Friends may call on Thursday, January 10, 2008, from 12:00 Noon until the funeral hour at Washington Street Missionary Baptist Church.

Mrs. Cox was a member of Washington Street Baptist Church serving in the Sunday School Department. She was a 16 year retiree as a Nurse Aide at Western Baptist Hospital and had been a private sitter.

She is survived by:

Gary Cox & William Bo Cole; Both of Paducah, KY

Three (3) Daughters – Barbara Martin & Linda Powell; Both of Louisville, KY
Sharon Spann; Paducah, KY

Six (6) Grandsons & Seven (7) Granddaughters

Eleven (11) Great-Grandchildren

One (1) Great Great-Grandson

Several Cousins

She was preceded in death by her parents Phillip & Lady Eady.
