Obituary
Erma Upshaw, 87, Paducah, died Tuesday, September 20, 2011, 1:20 a.m., at Medco Center of Paducah.
She was a member of Washington Street Missionary Baptist Church. She was formerly employed by The Kentucky School for the Blind.
She is survived by her daughter and husband Robert and Minnie Burnett of Louisville; two aunts, Rachel Clemens of Golconda, IL and Helen Wilson of Paducah; an uncle, Eddie Norris of Paducah; several cousins including Dorothy Titsworth of Paducah and her former caregiver, Patricia Robinson of Paducah.
She was preceded in death by her parents Willie Norris and Willie Bell Norris; her husband Claude Upshaw; a sister Valida Lou Jackson and a brother Rodney Norris.
Funeral service will be Friday, September 23, 2011, 11:00 a.m., at Pettus-Rowland Funeral Home. Reverend Raynarldo Henderson will officiate, and burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery. Friends may also call at the funeral home on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the funeral hour.
