Emma Louise Twitty, age 74 of Metropolis, IL, passed away on Saturday, December 14, 2019, 12:54 a.m.at Baptist Health Paducah.

She was formerly employed by Sears in the accounting department.

Emma enjoyed reading and spending time with her family especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She also loved going to the beach.

She was born in Little Rock, Arkansas and was preceded in death by her parents, Muriel Black, Ruth Embry, and one brother Richard Austin.

She leaves to cherish her memories: One son; Andre Twitty of Colorado, Two Daughters; Therese Hornsby, Spring Lake, NC, Diana (Willie) Dodds of Metropolis, IL, Six sisters; Patricia Wiley, Tucker, Ga, Delores (Henry) Wilson of Lithonia,GA, Joyce Wiley, Suwanee,GA, Evelyn Jackson, Tucker, GA, Anita (David) Moore of St. Louis, MO, Kathryn (Howard) Blackmon of Duluth,GA, Two Brothers; Joseph (Karen) Austin of Sand Antonio,TX and James (Eloise) Shannon of Mounds, IL; Five Grandchildren , Eight Great-Grandchildren, several nieces, nephews great-nieces, great-nephews and cousins.

Emma will be missed by all her knew and loved her.

Memorial services will be held at a later date.
