Obituary
Elmer H. "Pig" Stubblefield, 83, Paducah, KY died Sunday, December 23, 2012, 11:06 PM, at his residence in Paducah.
Mr. Stubblefield was a member of St. James C. M. E. church where he served as a Trustee and sang in the men's' Choir. He was a Veteran of the United States Army. Mr. Stubblefield retired from Martin Marietta Energy Systems in the Maintenance Department. He was a former member of Stone Square Lodge #5 F. & A. M. PHA.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Dallas Stubblefield and Ollie Lowery Stubblefield, one son, Michael Stubblefield, four brothers, and one sister.
He is survived by his wife of 53 years Cynthia Ann Stubblefield, Paducah, KY, two sons, Joey Stubblefield and Troy D. Stubblefield, both of Paducah, KY; one daughter, La'Tonya Rochelle, Los Angeles, CA; Eight Grandchildren; Seven Great Grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Services are scheduled for 11:00 A.M. Saturday, December 29, 2012 at St. James C. M. E. Church with Reverend Martha E. Granger officiating. Burial will follow with military rites at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive visitors at the church on Saturday, December 29, 2012 from 10:00 A.M. until the funeral hour.
