Elmer (Flood) J. Jackson, Jr., 61, Paducah, passed away, Friday, April 19, 2013, 6:57 PM at Baptist Health of Paducah.

He was a graduate of Paducah Tilghman High School and West Kentucky Vocational Technical School where he received certification in auto mechanics and computer programming. Elmer was formerly employed by the United States Enrichment Corporation as a welder and was a self-employed computer programmer. He attended St. James Christian Methodist Episcopal Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Elmer J. Jackson, Sr. and Catherine Bolen Jackson.
He is survived by two daughters, Yolanda Rene Bolen and Chandra Dee Starks both of Paducah; one son, Jamario Bolen of Paducah; one sister, Kathleen Jackson, of Paducah; Five Grandchildren; one Great Granddaughter; one aunt; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great- nephews, and cousins.

Funeral service will be held on Thursday, April 25, 2013 1:00 PM at Nehemiah Christian Ministries with Reverend Charles E. Dunbar and Reverend James Topp, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery.
