Obituary
Edward "Jackie" Jerome Fossie, age 68, of Metropolis, IL, passed away on Friday, February 13, 2015, 10:45 a.m. at his residence.
He was a member of Just By Faith in Metropolis and a Veteran of the US Army, serving during the Vietnam Era. He was a graduate of both Massac County High School and Shawnee Community College, and was a member of American Legion Post #306 in Metropolis.
He was preceded in death by his father, William Edward Fosssie.
Survivors include His Mother, Mary Ruth Fossie of Metropolis, IL and a son, Jevin LaRon Fossie of St. Louis, MO and several cousins.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 21, 2015, 12 Noon at Emmanuel Temple Ministries Church of God In Christ in Metropolis with Pastor Clarence Jackson officiating with burial to follow in Masonic Cemetery.
Friends may call at the church on Saturday, February 21, 2015 from 10:00 a.m. until the funeral hou
