Obituary

Earl E. Watts, 78, Paducah, died Sunday, February 12, 2012, 8:40 pm at Medco Center of Paducah.

He attended St. James Christian Methodist Episcopal Church. Watts was a graduate of the former Lincoln High School and West Kentucky Vocational School. He retired from Great Lakes Steel Industry in Detroit, Michigan. He was formerly employed by Paducah's Owen Cleaners and Wells Fargo. He was Veteran of the United States Army serving during the Vietnam Era.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Johnny B. Watts and Barbara Dobbins, a grandson Clifford Robinson III, a brother Franklin Watts, a sister, Mae Brewster, aunts, Della Larkins and Media Waldon; and an uncle, Andrew J. R. Foree

Watts is survived by his wife, Belinda A. Watts, South Bend, IN; Two daughters, Deborah Watts Braden, Nashville, TN and Shante' Johnson, Detroit, MI; Two Sons, Scottie J. Nelson, Metropolis, IL and Jamelle Jones, South Bend, IN; a Step-daughter, Jeromy Lewis, South Bend ,IN; a Step-son, Samuel Leonard, South Bend, IN; several Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren; Four Brothers, Connie Watts, Paducah, KY, Ervin Watts, Clearwater, FL, Tommy Gamble, Holiday, FL and Brian Harris, Clearwater, FL; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Services are scheduled for 1:00 P. M. Friday, February 17, 2012 at Greater Lincoln Heights Missionary Baptist Church,1324 Bloomfield Avenue, Paducah, KY 42001 with Reverend Alfred Anderson officiating. Military Honors will be conducted at the church.

The family will receive visitors at the church on Friday, February 17, 2012, from 12:00 noon until the funeral hour.
