Obituary
Drue Edward Garnett, age 82, Paducah passed away on Thursday, October 31, 2013, 3:45 am at Paducah Care and Rehabilitation Center.
He was a member of First Liberty Baptist Church and a retiree of Paducah-Sun and Computer Services, Inc.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Reverend Isaac D. Garnett and Lilliana Calvert Garnet; a daughter, Etta Mae Garnett, four sons, Ordell D. Garnett, Robert Lee Garnett, Isaac Drue Garnett, Jimmy Carruthers, and two brothers.
Survivors are, one daughter, Drucecilla Garnett, Atlanta, GA; nine sons, George Edward Garnett, Phoenix, AZ; Simual W. Garnett, James K. Garnett, Harold Eugene Garnett, Dana Drue Edward Garnett, Dan Morris and Anthony Williams all of Paducah, Reverend Peter Williams and Byron Williams both of Atlanta, GA; a sister, Erma Jean Garnett Brown, Dayton, OH; several grandchildren, great- grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral services are scheduled for Monday, November 4, 2013, 12 noon, at the Harrison Street Missionary Baptist Church with Reverend Charles W. Russell officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery.
Friends may call at the church on Monday from 11:00 am until the funeral hour.
