Obituary
Lois Marie Broughton Artis, 50, of Paducah, formerly of Racine, Wis., died at 8 p.m. Dec. 11 at her home.
She was of the Baptist faith and a homemaker.
She is survived by one son, Larry Artis Jr. of Tampa Fla.; two daughters, LeiKeisha Broughton of Tampa and Miranda Artis of York, Ala.; three sisters, Patricia Broughton of Racine, Wis., Glenda Broughton of Greensboro, Ala., and Gail Williams of Tuscaloosa, Ala.; three brothers, Alvin Broughton Jr. and Arnell Broughton, both of Racine, and Charles Broughton of New Orleans; two grandchildren; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Alvin and Earline Parks Broughton, and one sister.
Graveside services will be at noon today at West McCracken County Cemetery on Wilmington Road with the Rev. James H. Vinson officiating.
There will be no visitation.
