Dorothy Mae Elizabeth Holland Titsworth, age 99, of Paducah, passed away Wednesday, August 17, 2022, 1:27 p.m., at her residence.

Dorothy, a Godly woman who loved both her church and church family, was a member of the St. John African Methodist Episcopal Church and a former member of Oakalone African Methodist Episcopal Church.  During her Christian walk she served as a stewardess and mother of the church, a life-time missionary and was a faithful and dedicated participant in the Mattie Ragsdale Missionary Society.  Dorothy worked untiringly wherever her services were needed and even took on custodial duties at the church.  Nothing was more important to her than working in God's service. Dorothy was recognized as a "25 Year" member of the West Kentucky 13 ^th District.  Her life touched many families as she lived serving the Lord.

She leaves to cherish her legacy of love: Three Daughters , Dorothy Yvonne Wilson, Shirley Massie and Wanda S. Jones, all of Paducah, KY; 13 Grandchildren ; 27 Great-Grandchildren ; 58 Great Great-Grandchildren ; One Aunt , Erma, Louise Norris of Paducah, KY; Three Brothers-In-Law , Louis Titsworth, Otis Titsworth and Owen D. Heady, all of Paducah, KY; Several Cousins and a Wide Circle of Friends .

Momma Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband, Lee Roy Titsworth; her parents, John Henry Holland and Novada Norris Holland; one son, Gregory Titsworth; her step-mother, Mary Holland and her step-sister, Darlene Wimberly.

Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday, August 27, 2022, 1:00 p.m., at Washington Street Missionary Baptist Church of Paducah with Reverend George Turks and Reverend James Bolen will officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery.

Friends may call Saturday at the church from 12 noon until the funeral hour.
