Donovan Davenport Sr., age 50 of Paducah, passed away on Monday, July 29, 2019 5:41 p.m. at his residence.

Donovan was of the Baptist Faith. He was self-employed as a contractor and a former employee of the City of Paducah as a fireman.

He is survived by one son; Donovan Davenport Jr., of Paducah; four daughters; Sha'Nique Gardner, of San Antonio, TX; Alyce Bishop, of Louisville; Areanna Orr and Qariah Davenport both of Paducah; father; Arthur Davenport Jr., mother; Celia Askew-Davenport both of Paducah, life-partner , Rachel Kelley of Paducah; one granddaughter; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral services are scheduled for Monday, August 5, 2019, 12 Noon at Harrison Street Missionary Baptist Church with Reverend Michael Wade officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery.

Friends may also call at the church from 10:00 a.m. until the funeral hour.
