Dolores C. Alston White, age 84, of Paducah answered her heavenly call on Tuesday, March 25, 2014, 3:36 p.m. from Baptist Health of Paducah.

Dolores was a long-time member of Washington Street Missionary Baptist Church where she served in the Culinary Ministry and the Faith and Food Ministry. She was employed for many years as a supervisor in the Dietary Department at the former Medco Center of Paducah.

Dolores was preceded in death by her husband Gus White, Jr.; her parents Hannibal Alston and Dowal Steele Alston; a grandson, Dante' L. Hensley; three sisters and four brothers.

Those to cherish her loving memories are her children ; Theodosia (Shelley, Sr.) Keeling , Anthony (Rose) White; Gus L. (Mary) White, Sheila A. (Ren) Hensley, Norma F. (Steve) Green, Carolyn White (Roy Jackson), Marilyn D. (Danny) Williams all of Paducah; Jerry L. (Ollie) White and Paula K. (Albert) Thomas both of Louisville, KY; Lamont E. (Donna) White of Nashville, TN and George A. (Lucritia) White of Chattanooga, TN; two sisters , Constance (Lysanias) Broyles of Davenport, IA and Anna Alston of Paducah; twenty-eight Grandchildren, fifty-seven Great-Grandchildren , thirteen Great-Great Grandchildren ; Brothers –In-Law , Earl E. (Izell) White, Paducah and Paul E. (Merle) White of Long Beach, CA; Sisters-In-Law , Mae E. Gant and Alberta White both of Paducah; and a host of nieces, nephews, special friends and other relatives.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 31, 2014, 12 Noon at the Washington Street Missionary Baptist Church with Reverend Raynarldo Henderson officiating. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens.

Friends may call at the church on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the funeral hour.
