Dianne Smith Pollard, age 69, of Peekskill, New York, formerly of Paducah, Kentucky, passed away Sunday, July 13, 2014, 5:20 am at the Newburgh Health Care Center of Newburgh, IN.

She was a member of Liberty Baptist Church and a 20-year employee of the Veterans Administration Hospital of Peekskill, NY as a dietician. She was preceded in death by her parents, Reverend Voris G. Smith, Sr. and Lucille Jefferson Smith; a son, Glenn "Spin" Pollard, two sisters, Mary Louise Smith and Shirley Ann Stubbs.

Survivors are a son, Graland "Gee" Smith, Hattiesburg, MS; a brother, Voris Smith, Jr. ,Evansville, IN; three sisters, Carolyn Sebree and Sharon Burgher both of Evansville, IN and Brenda Quinn of Peekskill, New York; two grandsons, several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Graveside rites are scheduled for Friday, July 18, 2014, 11:00 a.m., at Oak Grove Cemetery with Reverend Alfred Anderson officiating.

Friends may call at the Pettus-Rowland Funeral Home on Friday, July 18, 2014 from 10:00 a.m. until 10:30 am.
