Delmar R. Allen, Jr.'s Obituary
Delmar R. Allen, Jr., 61, Paducah, formerly of Indianapolis, In, died on Wednesday, July 25, 2012, 1:40 a.m., at Lourdes Hospital.
He was a member of Ninth Street Tabernacle Ministries and a retiree of the custodial department at Indiana University.
He is survived by two daughters, Tacoya Jones and Tramaine Williams, both of Indianapolis, IN; one son,
Travis Allen of Indianapolis, IN; five grandchildren; two brothers, Anthony Allen of Bolen Brooks, IL and Ivin Allen of Paducah, KY; one sister, Meshell Rhodes of Indianapolis, IN; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Phyllis Webster-Allen; his parents, Delmar R. Allen, Sr. and Mary Crayton Allen; and one brother, Reginald Allen.
There will be no public visitation or service. Memorial services will be held at a later date in Indianapolis, IN.
