Obituary
Debra V. Lones, 62, of Paducah, formerly of Metropolis, Illinois, passed away Wednesday, December 18, 2013, 12:25 am, at Baptist Health Paducah.
Debra was a member of First Missionary Baptist Church in Metropolis, IL. She was a retired Registered Nurse of Western Baptist Hospital and a member of the Parrish Church Nurse Organization.
Debra is survived by a son, William Allen Michael Lones of Plainfield, IL; three daughters, Regan Myran Benton of Savannah, GA, Recia Nicole Lones of Paducah, and Robin Foxx of Rochester Hills, MI; eight grandchildren; three sisters, Jeannie Jones of Columbia, MO, Ethel Florence of Hazelcrest, IL, and Neacy Baker of Romeoville, IL; two brothers, Howard Florence of Romeoville, IL and Eldred Florence of Homewood, IL; two aunts; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Allen Lones and her parents Louis Florence and Lizzie Viola Long.
Funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 21, 2013, 12:00 Noon, at First Missionary Baptist Church in Metropolis, IL. Reverend Orlando McReynolds will officiate, and burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery of Choates, IL.
Friends may also call at the church on Saturday from 10:00 am until the funeral hour.
