Deborah Ann Spaulding, age 67 of Paducah, passed away on Saturday, September 11, 2021, 4:20 a.m. at Mercy Health Lourdes in Paducah.

She was a member of Mount Moriah Missionary Baptist Church where she actively served as the Administrative Church Clerk, member of the Official Board, President of the Women's Choir, Past Youth Director, and member of the Women's Ministry, labored in the Culinary Department, and organized the Mt. Moriah Book Club, active in the American Cancer Society, Mt. Moriah Relay Racers and a member of the Spiritual Enrichment Program at the Merryman House.

She received an Associate Degree from West Kentucky State Vocational School and was the current President of the West KY Alumni Association. She was retired from the Internal Revenue Service as a tax auditor.

She was preceded in death by her parents, James Miley Spaulding, Sr. and Mary Edna Sutton Spaulding and one niece, Cheria Spaulding.

She is survived by four brothers , James Spaulding, Jr. of Nashville, TN, Lester "Reese" (Mitzi) Spaulding of Evansville, IN, Bruce Spaulding and Donald Spaulding, both of Morganfield, KY.; seven sisters, Lee Spaulding of Clarksville, TN, Helen "MeMe" Spaulding of Bowling Green, KY, Elaine Spaulding of Nashville, TN, Myra Spaulding of Morganfield, KY, Meritta  (Robert Sr.) Taylor and Jackie Foster, both of Henderson, KY and Lona Spaulding of Virginia Beach, VA; eight nephews , Marcus Spaulding, Quintin Spaulding, Justin (Karen) Foster, Wendell (Krista) Weathers II, Brandon (Rachel) Taylor, Robert Taylor Jr., William Foxx, JaMikel Weathers, four nieces, Aurelia Spaulding, Rayshaun (Nathaniel) Peete, LarKetia Spaulding and Ashaunna Spaulding, a host great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins and friends.

Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday, September 18, 2021, 11:00 a.m. at Mount Moriah Missionary Baptist Church with Rev's Calvin Cole, Sr. and Melanie Nunn officiating. Graveside services and burial will follow at Odd Fellows Cemetery in Morganfield, KY.

Friends may call Saturday at the church from 10:00 a.m. until the funeral hour.
