Darrius Lamont White entered eternal rest at the age of 22 years, 5 months and 8 days on Tuesday, June 8, 2021, 11:39 pm, at his residence in Paducah, Kentucky.  Darrius was born, in Paducah, Kentucky to his loving parents, Gary Owen Jackson, Jr. and Tawana White.

Darrius was baptized into the Harrison Street Church family under the pastoral guidance of Reverend Dr. James L. Hudson.  He was a graduate of Paducah Tilghman High School and formerly employed with FED EX.  At the time of his death, Darrius was at the point of becoming employed with UACJ Automotive White Hall Industries – Paducah Manufacturing Facilities.

Darrius , a very family-oriented man, was everybody's daddy as he gave advice to all those who asked.  He was quiet and laid back; however, Darrius would speak with an authoritative voice by saying what he meant and meaning what he said.  He was a sports fan who loved playing basketball with the boys and was even on the football team while in middle school.  Darrius grew to be a self-sufficient individual who wanted to make money and have money to do whatever he desired to do.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Gus White, Jr. and Delores C. White; his maternal great-grandfather, Roy "PawPaw" Jackson; his paternal-grandfather, Joseph Fuller and paternal great-grandparents, James Topp, Sr. and Betty Topp.

Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday, June 19, 2021, 11:00 a.m. at Greater Lincoln Heights Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. James L. Hudson officiating. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens.

Friends may call Saturday at the church from 9:00 a.m. until the funeral hour.

Masks are required for all in attendance.
