Cynthia Marie Alexander, 47, Cape Girardeau, MO, formerly of Paducah, passed away Thursday, March 28, 2013, 8:30 am, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, MO.
She was a former member of New Greater Love Missionary Baptist Church and was a graduate of Paducah Tilghman High School. Cynthia attended the Job Corps Center in St. Louis, MO. and was presently employed at the Cut-Mart in Cairo,Il as a cook and clerk.
She is survived by her husband of 28 years, James Alexander of Cape Girardeau, MO; mother, Christine Henry Hagans of St. Louis, MO; three sons, Andrace McGee of Cape Girardeau, MO, Deantio McGee of Paducah, and James Burns of Martin, TN; four daughters, Faith Louise McGee of Cape Girardeau, MO, Alisa McGee-McKinley of East St. Louis, IL; Michelle Burns and Tomica Alexander, both of Paducah; 18 grandchildren; two sisters, Joann McGee of St. Louis, MO and Christina Jackson of Denver, CO; four brothers, Harvey McGee, Jr., Tony McGee, Rome McGee, and Tyke McGee, all of St. Louis, MO; one uncle, two aunts, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Funeral service will be held Friday, April 5, 2013, 6:00 pm, at Pettus-Rowland Funeral Home with Reverend Alfred Anderson officiating.
Friends may also call at the funeral home on Friday for visitation from 4:00 pm until the funeral hour.
