Connell A. Irons, Sr., age 53 of Paducah, passed away on Thursday, August 1, 2019, 10:55 a.m. at Ray & Kay Eckstein Hospice Care Center in Paducah.

He was formerly employed with Hollowell Construction Company in Paducah. He attended Shawnee Community Technical College.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Steve Polk and Ruthie Lee Eastland Irons, one sister and one brother.

He is survived by his wife; Dorothy M. Irons of Paducah; three sons; Connell A. Irons Jr., of Paducah; Jeremy Irons, Clinton, KY; Monquez Mundy, Nashville, TN; two step-sons; James A. McKinney and Justin J. Mays both of Paducah; eighteen grandchildren; two brothers; Jeff Eastland of Carbondale, IL; Terry Irons of Peoria, IL; two sisters; Shelia Eastland and Crickett Eastland both of Carbondale several nieces, nephews, cousins.

Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday, August 10, 2019, 1:00 p.m. at Pettus-Rowland Funeral Home with Reverend Alfred Anderson officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday from 12 noon until the funeral hour.
