Obituary
Clyde Derrick (Derry) Wallis, age 60, of Paducah, passed away on Thursday, February 23, 2012, 11:15 a.m., at Western Baptist Hospital in Paducah, KY.
He was a member of Mt. Moriah Missionary Baptist Church and was previously employed by Pilgrims Pride in Management. He was a graduate of Springdale High School in Springdale, AR, and attended the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville, AR, studying music.
Wallis was preceded in death by his parents Clyde Wallis and Wanda Boone.
He is survived by his wife, Shari Burton Wallis of Paducah KY, one son, Drew Wallis, Fayetteville, AR; one step-daughter, Carmen Moss, Columbus, GA; a grandson and one uncle.
Services are scheduled for 1:00 P. M. Saturday, February 25, 2012 at Mt. Moriah Missionary Baptist Church with Reverend Calvin R. Cole, Sr. officiating.
The family will receive visitors Saturday, February 25, 2012 from 11:00 A. M. until the funeral hour at the church.
Pettus-Rowland Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
