Obituary
Clyde Sylvester Carrethers passed away on Thursday, December 25, 2025, at his residence in Brookport, Illinois.
He was a retired mechanic of 38 years from Sears & Roebuck.
Services are scheduled for Saturday, January 3, 2026, 12:00 noon at Pettus-Rowland Funeral Home with Superintendent James Hadley, Eulogist and Missionary Doris Hadley, facilitator. Burial will follow in Bethel Cemetery in Brookport, Illinois.
Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 11:00 a.m. until the funeral hour.
