Clifford Donald Robinson, Jr., a life-long resident of Paducah, Kentucky, ended his earthly existence on Saturday, February 24, 2024, at his residence. At the time of his passing Clifford had acquired 67 years, one month and seven days of age.

Clifford was the son of the late Clifford Donald Robinson, Sr. and the late Patricia C. Smith Robinson. Following his graduation from Paducah Tilghman High School in 1975, he continued his education at Paducah Community College where he was an assistant basketball coach. He owned and operated Robinson & Son Janitorial Service.

Clifford was an avid sports enthusiast who enjoyed all types of sports. Whether it was a team sport, such as basketball, or anything that engaged in individual competition, he loved them all. Some of his favorite past times included shooting pool, golfing, tennis and backgammon. His favorite professional teams were the Los Angeles Lakers and the Kansas City Chiefs.

Clifford was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Clifford Donald Robinson III; and a brother in-law, Jerry Wayne Gray, Sr.

Left behind to cherish his memory are one son, William George (Shaniqua) Robinson of Paducah, KY; one adopted daughter, Candyce Fly Lee of Salt Lake City, Utah; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; one sister, Peggy Gray; one nephew, Jerry Wayne (Kayla) Gray, Jr. both of West Paducah, KY; two nieces, Monique (Clarence) Hubbard of Paducah, KY and Heather Williams of Clarksville, TN; two aunts, Mary Robinson of Louisville, KY and Jean Robinson of Columbus, OH; and other relatives and close friends.

Memorial services will be held on Saturday, March 9, 2024, 1:00 p.m. at Pettus Rowland Funeral Home.

Family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until the service hour.
