Cledis Settle, 71, Paducah, KY died Monday, December 10, 2012, 1:00 am at his residence in Paducah.

Mr. Settle was a member of Harrison Street Missionary Baptist Church where he was a former usher. He was a veteran of the United States Army. Mr. Settle received is certification in Brick Masonry from West Kentucky Vocational School. He was a member of the local Brick Layers Union.

Mr. Settle was preceded in death by his parents Reverend Nathan Settle and Azzie Lee Mitchell Settle; his wife, Margaret Settle; and one son Cledis Lamont Settle.

He is survived by one daughter, Kimberly Settle, Paducah, KY; two grandchildren Kiyanese Settle and Kyris Settle, both of Paducah, KY; and other relatives.

Services are scheduled for 12:00 Noon, Monday, December 17, 2012 at Harrison Street Missionary Baptist Church with Reverend James L. Hudson officiating. Burial will follow in Maplelawn Park Cemetery with Military Rites.

The family will receive visitors Monday, December 17, 2012 from 11:00 am until the funeral hour at the church.
