Obituary
Christopher David Lipscomb, 33, of Evansville, IN, formerly of Paducah, passed away, Monday, December 19, 2016, 1:00 p.m., at his residence in Evansville, IN.
Christopher was a member of Ninth Street Church of Christ and a graduate of Heath High School where he was a member of the Pirates Football team. He received his associate's degree from West Kentucky Vocational and Technical College and was employed in sales with East Penn Manufacturing in Evansville.
He is survived by his parents, Roy Lipscomb and Martha Burgess Lipscomb, both of Paducah; one sister, Phoebe Burgess of Lexington; four uncles, several nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Jade Gamble; his paternal grandparents, George Lipscomb and Sybil Ellison Lipscomb; maternal grandparents, Roosevelt Burgess and Mary Robinson Burgess.
Funeral services are scheduled for Tuesday, December 27, 2016, 12:00 Noon at Ninth Street Church of Christ. Mark Rowe will officiate and burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery.
Friends may also call at the church on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until the funeral hour.
