Christopher Richard Francis, 51, Paducah, passed away Thursday, October 11, 2012, 12:13 a.m. at Broward Health and Medical Center of Ft. Lauderdale, FL.

Christopher was a graduate of Christian County High School. He was formerly employed as a mechanic at Sears and Hicks Auto of Paducah. He was owner and operator of Francis Muffler Shop. Christopher was of the Baptist Faith.

Christopher was preceded in death by his father, Winston Francis, Sr., and a sister Denise Francis.

He is survived by his wife, Kathy Francis of Paducah, KY; his mother, Margaret Francis of Ft. Lauderdale, FL; one son, Kiel Francis of Paducah; one daughter, Charmaine Waddell of Ft. Lauderdale, FL; three grandchildren, four sisters, Jacqueline McCluster, St. Croix, Virgin, Islands, Beverly McRee, Memphis, TN, Joan Henry, Atlanta, GA, and Natasha Francis, Hopkinsville, KY; five brothers, Anthony Francis, Ft. Lauderdale, FL, Kurt Francis and Brian Francis, both of Lexington, KY, Lyndon Francis, Nashville, TN, and Winston Francis, Jr., St. Croix, Virgin Islands and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Services are scheduled for 11:00 A. M. Thursday, October 18, 2012 at Ninth Street Tabernacle Ministries with Reverend Alfred Anderson and Reverend Barbara Burrage officiating. Burial will follow in Maplelawn Park Cemetery

The family will receive visitors Thursday, October 18, 2012 from 10:00 am until the funeral hour at the church.
