Obituary
Cheryl Lynn Moore, 47, Paducah, KY, died 6:36 P. M. Monday, August 3, 2009 at Western Baptist Hospital in Paducah.
Cheryl was a member of Mt Zion Missionary Baptist Church, where she was Director of the Youth Ministries. She was a former member of Miles Chapel C.M.E Church where she served as church secretary, Sunday School Superintendent & member of the Culinary Staff. She was a graduate of Paducah Tilghman High School and attended Franklin College, West Kentucky Technical College, and Brannons Business College, studying Criminal Justice and Business. She worked for Parkview Nursing & Rehabilitation Center as overseerer for the laundry department.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Dianne Marie Moore.
She is survived by one son, Christopher Jason Moore, one daughter, Keshia LaCheryl Moore, her father, Marshall Weatherspoon, one Brother, Jerry Vernoid Moore, two sisters, Karen Moore and Paula Moore, all of Paducah, KY, Seven Grandchildren, Several Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, and Nephews.
Services are scheduled for Friday, August 7, 2009, 1:00 P. M. at Greater Lincoln Heights Missionary Baptist Church, 1324 Bloomfield Avenue, Paducah, with Reverend Alfred Anderson and Reverend Michael Wade Officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery.
The family will receive visitors at the church on Friday from 12:00 noon until the funeral hour.
