Chayton Daunte Holland-Thacker was born on November 16, 1990, in Paducah, KY, to Alethea Faye Holland and the late Bobby J. "BJ" Thacker.

In 2010, he graduated from Lone Oak High School, where he played on the football and basketball teams. He continued his love of football through his participating on the West Kentucky Thoroughbred Football team. He was employed by Huddle House Restaurant for about the last four years.

It was in his first year of high school that he began dating the person that he would eventually marry, Mariah Willett. The two high school sweethearts made their vow of marriage on May 28, 2016. They built their life and faith together until he fell asleep in death on November 3, 2017.

Chayton is survived by his wife, Mariah N. Holland-Thacker; his mother, Alethea Faye Holland-Thacker, two brothers, Chandler Holland-Thacker and Elen Thacker; three sisters, LoReal Holland, Brydney Hill and Sydney Hill, all of Paducah. He also leaves behind three nephews, Zachariah Holland, Zayden Holland and Malachi Holland; one very special niece, Lily Marie Thacker, all of Paducah; a host of other family, in-laws and friends who loved him and will miss him greatly.

Services will be held at Pettus-Rowland Funeral Home on Saturday, November 11, 2017, 11:00 a.m.; burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery.

There will be no visitation.
