Charles M. "Smitty" Smith, age 85, of Paducah passed away on Wednesday, January 2, 2013, 7:15 p.m. at Paducah Care & Rehabilitation Center.
He was a native of Cairo, Illinois and a member of New Greater Love Missionary Baptist Church.
Smith is survived by a devoted friend, Joann Kindle of Paducah.
There will be no public visitation or service.
