Charles Edward Bolen, age 73, of Paducah, passed away Friday, June 16, 2017, 2:36 p.m. at the McCracken County Rehabilitation Center of Paducah.

He was formerly employed as a salesman with Allen Auto Sales and was a 1962 graduate of the former Lincoln High School. He was also a Veteran of the US Army, having served during the Vietnam Era.

He is survived by his wife of fifty-two years , Imogene Bolen of Indianapolis, IN; one son , Raymond Bolen; two daughters , Tracey Veverka and Rolanda Herron; three sisters , Sandra Bolen, Vivian Stepp and Wanda Allen; eight grandchildren ; four great great-grandchildren ; three brothers , Ronald Bolen, Larry Matchem and Frederick Matchem; several nieces, nephews, and cousins .

He was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond Bolen and Juanita Whitfield Bolen, two brothers and two sisters.

A memorial service is scheduled for Saturday, June 24, 2017, 1:00 PM, at Pettus-Rowland Funeral Home. Reverend Michael Wade will officiate.

There will be no visitation.
