Obituary
Cecil Jabbar Barnette, 43, of Lexington, formerly of Paducah, passed away Friday, February 10, 2017, 2:35 p.m., at Central Baptist Health Lexington in Lexington, KY.
He was employed as an Architectural Engineer at Gray Construction in Lexington.
He is survived by his wife, Nicole Patrice Tyler Barnette of Lexington; three daughters, Tiair Tyler of Murray, Ashley Barnette and Janay Barnette, both of Lexington; two sons, Cedric Barnette and Dedric Barnette, both of Lexington; his mother, Cecelia Barnette of Paducah.
He was preceded in death by his father, Reverend Cecil J. Barnette, one sister and one brother.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 18, 2017, 12:00 noon, at Harrison Street Missionary Baptist Church in Paducah, Kentucky with Reverend James L. Hudson and Reverend Raynarldo Henderson, officiating. Entombment with Military Honors will follow in Maplelawn Park Cemetery.
Friends may also call at the church on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the funeral hour.
