Burtrice Tyrone "Bimbo" Thomas, age 44, of Paducah, passed away Tuesday, February 11, 2020, 2:01 p.m., at his residence.

He was a member of Mt. Sinai Missionary Baptist Church in Oakton, KY. He graduated from Paducah Tilghman High School and studied communications at West Kentucky Community and Technical College.

He is survived by his wife , Fernanda Thomas of Paducah; one daughter , Azia Rouse of Lexington, KY; two sons , Jarvis Plato of Paducah and Justin Moore of Springfield, IL; five granddaughters ; his mother , Janice K. Thomas of Paducah; one sister , Jerhonda Thomas of Paducah; one brother , Jose Enrique Zertuche of AL; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his father, Tyrone Thomas and one brother.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 22, 2020, 12:00 noon, at Greater Lincoln Heights Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Alfred Anerson and Rev. Anthony Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in Oakton Cemetery in Oakton, KY.

Friends may also call at the church on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the funeral hour.
