Bruce Anthony Wright, 64 years of age, left his earthly home for eternal rest on Monday, May 11, 2026. He was born on March 23, 1962, to Reverend Lydia Wright, Sr. and Velda Wright in Earle, AR.

Bruce accepted Christ at a young age, attending First Baptist Church of Earle, AR. He graduated from Dunbar High School where he played sports in football and basketball. He had a life that many got to experience because he was courageous, friendly, funny, out spoken and family oriented.

Bruce is preceded in death by his parents, Lydia Wright, Sr. and Velda Wright; his sisters, Shirley Wright, Gwendolyn Ousley, Carolyn Pollard, Louise Edmondson, Katie Mae Wwright, and Bernice Wright; brothers, Sammy Wright, Charles Wright, Theras Wright, Freddy Wright, Bobby Wright, Steven Wright, and Larry Wright; and one grandson, Cornelius T. Atkins.

Bruce leaves to cherish his memories: One Daughter, Lakeesha M. Sanders of Earle, AR; One Son, Bruce A. Wright, Jr. of Milwaukee, WI; Ten Grandchildren; and One Great-Granddaughter on the way; A Host of Nieces, Nephews, Cousins, and Friends.

Funeral services have been scheduled for Sunday, May 31, 2026 at 1:00 p.m. at Pettus Rowland Funeral Home with his niece Pastor Yvette Wright officiating.

Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday from 12 noon until the funeral hour.
