Funeral service for Brenda Kay Blue Brazier, age 57, of Paducah will be held on Saturday, March 8, 2014, 12 noon at the Mt. Moriah Missionary Baptist Church located at 1201 South 8th Street in Paducah. Reverend Doctor James L. Hudson and Reverend Doctor Calvin R. Cole, Sr. will officiate Entombment will follow in Maplelawn Park Cemetery.

She passed away on Thursday, February 27, 2014, 10:15 pm at Lourdes Hospital. Brenda was preceded in death by her father, Howard Troy Blue, her mother, Helen Brandon Blue and two sisters, Gloria Magee and Lillian B. Tyler.

Brenda was a member of Harrison Street Missionary Baptist Church, a graduate of Lyon County High School and West Kentucky Technical Community College where she received her certification in Retail Sales. She was formerly employed by Elder-Beerman's, Dillard's and Kay's Merchandise in management.

Her memories are cherished by her loving and devoted husband, Harland E. Brazier, Paducah; a son, Jerry (Maria) O. Blue, Paducah; a step-daughter, Sharla (Minister Jewel, Jr.) Wilson, Paducah; a step-son, Reverend Marland (Sanura) Brazier, Aurora, IL; seven grandchildren, Nyla Blue, Tyran Fitzgerald, Landon Fitzgerald, Madyson Wilson, Brayden Wilson, Anisa Brazier and Jordyn Brazier; a brother, Howard Troy Blue, Paducah; three sisters, Elsie Staples, Margaret C. Faulkner and Phyllis Kilby all of Paducah; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Friends may call at the Mt. Moriah Missionary Baptist Church on Saturday, March 8, 2014 from 11:00 am until the funeral hour.
