Bravies A. Morrison's soul left his earthly body and ascended into his Heavenly Home from the Parkview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center of
Paducah, KY, on July 31, 2023, at 6:10 a.m. He was born in Corinth, MS, on June 26, 1955, to his loving mother, Lillie Mae Morrison.
Bravies, a 1973 graduate of Paducah Tilghman High School, was a trustee and faithful member of the First Missionary Baptist Church in Metropolis, IL. He had also been employed as an operator with Honeywell International Incorporated.
Bravies loved the outdoors, making him very fond of and a need to hunt. Along with hunting, he had a passion for and collected guns of which he
used for the sport and those he kept for their sentimental value. He was also an avid sports enthusiast who was quite fond of both basketball and
football; Bravies was also a Louisville Cardinal fan as well as being a supporter of the Kansas City Chiefs. Whenever he could, Bravies loved to
travel to his favorite destinations and loved to meet people along the way. No one ever doubted his love for family; he was one of the greatest
family men there was to behold.
Bravies leaves both family and friends to cherish the time they shared with him, including: His Beautiful and Devoted Wife of 17 Years, Sheila
Waldon Morrison of Metropolis, IL; One Daughter, Scherrie Morrison of LaCenter, KY; One Son, Brandon Morrison of Paducah, KY; Four
Grandchildren, TreShaun Morrison, Keelaon Morrison, Aaliya Morrison, and Camryn Morrison, all of Paducah, KY; Two Step-Grandchildren,
Braylon Hunter and Rashrona Walker, both of Paducah, KY; One Brother, Calvin (Michelle) Morrison of Jackson, TN; A Host of Nieces, Nephews, Cousins, and a Wide Circle of Friends.
Those awaiting him in Glory are his mother Lillie Mae Morrison, Maternal Grandparents, Mable Morrison and Rufus Morrison; One Brother, Vannil
Matthews; and Three Uncles, Leonard Morrison, Buster Morrison, Sr., and Neal Morrison. We all know that Heaven's Gain is our Earth loss as we mourn the death of Our Dear Loved One, Bravies A. Morrison. We loved you, but God loved you best!

Funeral Services are scheduled for Sunday, August 6, 2023, 3:00 p.m. at First Missionary Baptist Church with Reverend Dr. Orlando McReynolds officiating.
Family and Friends may gather at the church on Sunday from 2:00 p.m. until the funeral hour.
Burial will be on Monday, August 7, 2023, 10:00 a.m. at Oak Grove Cemetery.
