Obituary
Brad DeJuan Sims, 22, of Cape Girardeau, Mo, died Tuesday November 9, 2010 in Brookport, IL.
Brad attended Oakalone Christian Church. He graduated from Cape Central High School and attended Arkansas State University. Brad was a certified Welder. He was employed by Subway Restaurant.
Brad was preceded in death by His father Robert Sims.
He is survived by two daughters, Kariona Mae Sims, Brookport, IL and A'Miyah Me'Kail Maxie, Paducah ; his mother, Nancy Davis Sims, Cape Giraudeau, MO; one brother, Steven Davis, Cape Girardeau, MO; four sisters, Nevada Jefferson, Paducah, KY, Shuandre Jefferson and Samantha Copeland both of Nashville, TN, and Shena Sims, Cape Giraudeau, MO; five nieces, eight nephews, several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Services are scheduled for 12 O'Clock Noon, Saturday at Greater Lincoln Heights Missionary Baptist Church of Paducah with Reverend Alfred Anderson and Anthony Walton officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery in Paducah, KY.
The family will receive visitors at the church on Saturday from 10:00 A.M. until the funeral hour.
Pettus-Rowland Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
