Birdie Lucille Mitchell Bell, 93 days, 10 months, and 20 days old, departed this earthly life for eternal rest from her labors on Thursday, April 22, 2010, 2:00 P. M. at Medco Center of Paducah. Mrs. Bell was born in Grahamville, Kentucky on June 2, 1916, to the Late Barron Mitchell and Pearline Frazier Mitchell.

Mrs. Bell was presently a faithful member of Oakalone Christian Church and a former member of Carneal Chapel Baptist Church. She had also served as custodian at Olivet Baptist Church for twenty years and was a housekeeper for private residences.

Mrs. Bell enjoyed passing time,especially in the spring time and summer months, by sitting on the front porch with her sisters Azzie and Girtie. She loved being at family reunions and cherished those fond memories. Ms. Bell worked hard and diligently while raising her boys. She was quiet in manner which made her the quietest of her sisters.

She was preceded in death by her husband Clarence Bell; parents Barron Mitchell and Pearline Frazier Mitchell; two sons Ellis Bell and Clarence Bell, Jr.; an infant daughter; two infant grand-
Children Arlene Bell and Da'Coven Bell; three sisters, Alicia Hollowell, Cozette Titsworth, and Azzie Settle; three brothers, Manuel Mitchell, Bob Mitchell, and Bertrand Mitchell.
