With profound reverence and deep affection, we remember the life of Bettye J. Daniels, who departed this world on July 7, 2026, at the age of 61. Born on June 1, 1965, in the heart of McCracken County, Kentucky, Bettye’s life became a testament to grace, resilience, and quiet strength.

From her very first moments in Kentucky’s rolling countryside, Bettye carried within her an innate kindness and dignity that would come to define her journey through the years. She became a member of New Greater Love Church. She graduated Paducah Tilghman High School, and went on to receive certification as a cosmetologist at West Kentucky Vocational School and later became a homemaker. Though the details of her family circle, friendships, and daily passions remain unspoken, her presence was undoubtedly interwoven with the lives she touched along the way. Those who encountered Bettye would have surely felt the warmth of her spirit, the steadiness of her character, and the depth of her compassion.

Throughout her six decades among us, Bettye witnessed seasons of change and growth, embracing the gifts and challenges that life offered. In the unique tapestry of her days, she wove a legacy of quiet perseverance, remaining true to her roots in the Kentucky soil where her journey first began. Bettye became an avid reader and loved singing her favorite artists’ songs. She even entertained family and friends by making all sorts of funny faces for the video camera. Most importantly, she loved spending time with her grandchildren and pleased many a palattes with her well-known fried chicken.

She leaves to cherish her many wonderful memories: Her Children, Anthony Q. Daniels, Ivy (Vanessas) Daniels, and Takish Daniels; Her Mother, Mary A. Kizer, all of Paducah, KY; Her Siblings, Mary Daniels and Wilma Daniels, both of Paducah, KY, Martha (Graylan) Baucom of LaCenter, KY; Deidre Daniels of Gary, IN, Veronica (Michael) Drake of Arlington, TX, George (Stephanie) Barber, Sr. of Jeffersonville, IN, Allen Wilson, Sr. of St. Louis, MO and Tracy (Darris) Shelby of Paducah, KY; Ten Grandchildren, Akish, Keylan, Ivyonna, Anthony, Jr., Derriona, Ivy, Jr., Ivyonce, Queen, Kamaria, and Kashlyn; One Granddaughter, Sapphire; a Host of Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephew, Cousins, and Friends including her Special Friends, Arkaysha Monday, Jennifer Sledd, and Margaret.

Those who awaited Bettye with wide smiles at Heaven's Gates were her father George G. Wilson and her daughter, Kennitha Radford.

As the sun sets on Bettye’s earthly days, we pause to honor her memory with sincere gratitude for all that she was and all the gentle influence she imparted, recognized and cherished by those who knew her. May her spirit rest in the enduring peace it so richly deserves.
