Obituary
Betty M. Topp, 93, of Paducah, passed away Thursday, August 18, 2016, 4:30 a.m., at Parkview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
She was a member of St. James Christian Methodist Episcopal Church where she served as an usher and on the culinary committee. She was also formerly employed with the Paducah Day Care and Uniform Rent All.
She is survived by three sons, Gary Jackson and Dale McDermott, both of Paducah and James Topp, Jr. of Mayfield; two daughters, Brenda Topp and Dreamer Topp, both of Paducah; nine grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; one great great-granddaughter; several nieces, nephews and other relatives.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Topp, Sr.; her parents, Ephram Jackson and Ella Garland Jackson; six brothers and two sisters.
Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m., Monday, August 22, 2016, at Mt. Moriah Missionary Baptist Church with Reverend James Topp, Jr. and Reverend Michael Reid officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery.
Friends may also call at the church on Monday from 11:00 a.m. until the funeral hour.
